Mercedes-Benz announced the new SLK in the autumn of 2010, several months prior to its official 2011 launch at 2011 Frankfurt Autoshow, allowing car magazines to drive disguised test cars.
Capable of traveling 0-60mph in under 4.6 seconds and packing a 5.5L naturally aspirated V8, the new AMG SLK is 2 parts sports car and 1 part muscle car. (1920x1200)
The SLS is the first Mercedes automobile designed in-house by AMG and is described byMercedes-Benz as a spiritual successor to the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing.

Flying Lizard has run Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs continuously in GT since the team’s first year of competition in 2004.

Another annual Down Shift ALMS favorite at Sebring has been the always impressive BMW M3 GT cars.
The M3 GT is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 based on the 4.0-litre engine found in the standard M3, the GT produces 444hp and weighs 300lbs less than the standard M3. (1920x1200)
The Audi R15 TDI’s have always been some of our favorite LMP1 cars to watch and photograph; 2011 was certainly no exception and in it’s final year of racing the R15′s took both 4th and 5th place overall.
