Music Spotlight: Rusted Root’s Send Me On My Way

In honor of today being April 20th, it honestly only seems appropriate that we pay homage to a song from the 90′s which has as-of-late seen a resurgence popularity both in alt-rock radio airplay and usage in both television shows and commercials; 1995′s Send Me On My Way by Pittsburgh’s resident neo-hippies, Rusted Root.

Rusted Root's "Send Me On My Way", which hit No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995, parts of the song have also been used on the television shows Party of Five, Homicide, Chuck, New Girl and in a 2011 Enterprise Rent-A-Car commercial.

Due to the non-competitiveness of their W25 car, Mercedes pulled out of the 1936 Grand Prix Season midway through the year in order to concentrate on designing a car that would see them return to the top of the rankings…

The W125 made its first competitive outing in May at the 1937 Tripoli Grand Prix with Mercedes-Benz entering four cars. German Hermann Lang won his first Grand Prix motor race to give the W125 a victory on its début and provide Mercedes with their first victory over rivals Auto Union since May 1936. This Week’s Eats: Fox Brothers BBQ (Atlanta Metro)

This week we take a trip back up to Atlanta, Georgia and sample yet another one of it’s many awesome  BBQ-joints; the famous Fox Brother’s BBQ of Candler Park.

Collard greens, pot liquor, ribs, brisket and pulled-pork served up along side jalepeno-cornbread with home made honey butter...yes,to put it mildly we ate well in Candler Park this evening.

Another icon of the 1930′s. the influential SSK was the last car designed for Mercedes-Benz by famed engineer Ferdinand Porsche before leaving to found his own company…

Further exploring Tuesday’s visit to the 1930′s, today we take a look at one of the most influential European sportscars of that decade, the iconic BMW 328.
