Subaru’s long-awaited RWD sports coupe is finally nearing its finishing stages before entering production in the very near future.
Showcasing their BRZ STI Concept at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show Subaru is all but revealing the car that will be available at a dealer near you in just a few short months.
Painted in World Rally Blue (but without gold BBS wheels as you might expect) the BRZ STI Concept is perhaps a bit more robust than the standard BRZ will be when it enter production; the big rear wing, however, is likely to stick around, at least as an option.
The aggressive design and styling, features slightly protruding front fenders and an overall low-slung look intended to denote a sporty and fun if not outright powerful appearance. Performance will be there to back up the looks in the form of a tried and true Subaru 2.0-liter boxer engine producing around 200 horsepower for the spry 2,700lb car.
