The Versione Corse is the mandatory production version of the Maserati’s MC12 GT1 race car from the FIA GT-championship. Powered by a tweaked version of the Ferrari FXX’s 6.0-liter V-12 engine MC12 makes 755 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 524 pound-feet of torque at 6000 rpm. 0-60 you ask? 3.8seconds with a top speed of 202mph.

Undoubtedly this Ariel Atom is about the closest that any enthusiast will ever come to the thrill of driving a Formula 1 race-car… Open wheel, ridiculously light-weight and about as much fun as can be had on four wheels it’s hard not to love the Atom in stock form and damn near impossible to not love a modified one.

Turbocharged, Honda K20, 6 spd. stock block, stock cams, lowered compression 9.7/1 JE pistons, carillo rods, 20 psi. tuned on 93 octane pump gas. runs awesome. Built and dyno credited to Jay@Realstreetperformance in Orlando Fl.

Quite possibly the first Cadillac to actually impress us. Sure the XLR was fun at first but after spending a little time behind the wheel it just felt lacking; in need of a certain European refinement to justify the price-point if you will. The CTS-V coupe however represents everything the XLR could have been; ridiculously fast, awesome in both the corners and the straight line while at the same time luxuriously well appointed and price competitive.

The ridiculously fast and appropriately well appointed Cadillac CTS-V coupe.

Quite possibly the best cupcake shop in the South East; Frostings etc... of Tampa, FL

Some may say I am a cupcake addict, but I am an…extreme connoisseur and appreciate the fine art of cupcakes. I bake them, I decorate them, I eat them, I find new places to taste everywhere I go. After a big handful of cupcakeries, I have to say this is in the top 2 best. This is most certainly, the best in Tampa Bay, and beyond!

The beautiful Amy Lee and Evanescence make their return on Tuesday October 11th.

On Tuesday October 11th, just a little over 2 months from now we will finally have a new album from Evanescence. It’s been 5 years since the drama-plagued band released their sophomoric mainstream effort;  2006′s “The Open Door” and the hauntingly complex lyrics, vocals and melodies of Amy Lee and crew have been sorely missed…

A masterpiece of Pininfarina’s design studio, the Granturismo coupe’ along with the Quattrporte put Maserati back on the map for U.S. luxury auto sales. The epitome of the Italian exotic GT car, the Granturismo is brilliant in it’s design simplicities and and equally competent in it’s intricacies and complexities. It’s not a Ferarri and its not a Lamborghini…its a Maserati through and through.

A masterwork of the Pininfarina design house; Maserati Granturismo. (Click for HQ 1920x1200)
